ABOUT: The Mistress is a 2012 Filipino romantic melodrama film, first announced by Star Cinema on April 2012 through a news program, TV Patrol. Directed by Olivia Lamasan, the film stars John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo in comeback-movie after a two years hiatus. The film also celebrates their joint 10th Anniversary in show business and features a more daring and mature Alonzo and Cruz.
The Mistress Plot/ Synopsis: In The Mistress, John Lloyd Cruz plays JD Torres, a guy who fell in love with a mysterious woman named Sari Alfonso (played by Bea Alonzo). Sari, on the other hand is committed to her benefactor, a married man named Rico (Ronaldo Valdez). The said successful businessman's legal wife is Regina, played by multi-awarded actress Hilda Koronel.
